Tessa enjoys doing the homework that her occupational therapist gives her.
She loves playing at preschool but isn't interested in the crafts especially if it requires painting or getting messy. She now makes it through my 45 minute creative dance class without tears but she still isn't potty trained.

Last week Eliza got a haircut (about five inches). She loves her new look!
Last night we hosted our mother/daughter book club. We discussed the book "The Family Under the Bridge" by Natalie Carlson. We sat around the kitchen table eating and talking about the book for only 15 minutes when the girls got up and raced downstairs to play. Mission accomplished just having read a chapter book together, right? And it was fun to talk with the other moms for two hours while the kids were in the basement playing.
James' fourth grade choir concert was a tribute to Veterans (He is 3rd in the front row). I was impressed that Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy was choreographed! James is begging for guitar lesson. He isn't completely satisfied with my responses, "Maybe when you're ten." Or "After you can play ten hymns on the piano."
This is a picture of Emma's 6th grade choir concert (She is 2nd on the front row). Emma is also in a select choir that meets before school on Thursday mornings. I'm grateful it isn't an after school activity and that John is willing to take her on his way to work. Since our ward choir practices at our house, Emma joined that too. I love hearing the choir sing their Christmas songs in our home!
