Piano Recital and Choirs

We have been through so many piano teachers that honestly we have lost count.  In June, Sister Shaner moved so we were on the search again.  We hired Concordia’s choir accompanist, John Zieske, and the kids have really enjoyed him.  Sadly, he is moving next June.

Since our early morning seminary is only Monday-Thursday, Eliza and James rotate piano lessons on Friday morning before school.  Tessa has piano lessons after school on Mondays.  Just the last few months Tessa has enjoyed the piano more.  Mr. Zieske held a recital on Sunday, December 7th in the afternoon.  The kids did a great job!

Concordia hosted APAC choir for a week in November.  We hosted two HS girls from the Philippines.  This is a picture of Emma’s choir at their final performance.  The four people in the center are the choir directors and accompanists.

Choir practice was at our house on Sunday evenings as we prepared for the district Christmas open house.  We had more youth than adults attend.  We are grateful James was willing to accompany on the piano.
