Auditions for the HS play, “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940,” were the first week of school. The cast of ten students has been working hard after school for the last two months. Opening night was November 5th. We attended all three performances. It was so fun watching Emma and James on the stage together. The group grew very tight and worked so well together.

The play took place in the library of a mansion. John helped build the set.
It was a fabulous weekend! The kids didn’t seem exhausted at Saturday night’s cast party at midnight — where John and I served root beer floats. But James took a four hour nap after church on Sunday.
Eliza started rehearsals for the Middle School musical "Snow White" on Monday. She was so excited last Friday when the cast list was posted and she was cast as Snow White. The High School Musical auditions are in two weeks. We are doing the Addams Family. I’ll be busy helping with the choreography for these two upcoming musicals.
