Mia’s school held their Chinese New Year party after the school break. The school goes all out with their celebrations. Mia’s class danced to a song from Disney’s Mulan, “I’ll make a man out of you." Mia’s job was to stand there and wave the flag in the back. Each child was given a Chinese New Year box of small toys and candy.
Eliza has been doing reading lessons with Mia. So grateful for her help!
The morning of Feb 10th I was able to watch a live stream of the BYU Choir Concert. I loved watching Emma and Maddie! Emma is doing so well at BYU. She was very disappointed that despite seven call backs for summer theater jobs she did not end up with any offers. She was really hoping for a part in the ensemble at Pickleville Playhouse. The up side of not getting those jobs is that we get her back in Shanghai early May. On March 9th she met with her Bishop to start her mission papers. She can turn them in April 28th. She is counting down the days.
