We were all determined to go downtown again despite the rain. With Jefferson and Tessa in strollers we made a mad dash to the metro. Once downtown we ran from museum to museum. It was so crowded that we had to wait in line just to enter the buildings. John's favorite was the Air and Space Museum, and the kids liked the Natural History Museum (where "Night at the Museum 2" was filmed). We came back to Grant's house for dinner and once the rain had stopped we walked to their neighborhood park.
They have an offer in on a house and hope to be able to move in next month. Right now they live above a lady who doesn't like noise so Grant and Anna feel a lot of stress to be quiet. This lady even made some requests of us to be quiet while we were there. It will be good for them to have a place where they can feel free to do laundry after 8pm and let Jefferson jump and run.
