We stayed our last night in Bountiful with Paul and Jenny at her parents' home. The city of Bountiful set off fireworks that night for the 24th of July in the field right behind their house. It was a perfect way to end a fun week.
The next morning we went to the 24th of July parade in SLC. The kids were so worn out from a week of late nights that all they could do was drag their feet, complain, and fight. We lasted about an hour in the heat of the parade then headed to the airport. It is good to be home! Now that we have been home for two days, the six loads of laundry are done, the kids are well rested, the refrigerator is stocked and the suitcases are put away, I can honestly say...I loved the reunion!
