Thanksgiving in China

I knew I would be homesick over Thanksgiving.  It is not a holiday here.  So on Thursday morning we all got up like any other day.  The kids had school, John had work, and I taught a Zumba class.  John came home around 6:30pm and we went to a Mexican restaurant.  We would have felt sorry for ourselves that night but we knew we would be celebrating with a traditional Thanksgiving feast on Saturday afternoon.  Five families in our branch met together that Saturday and had a nice time eating turkey and all the trimmings.  We have so much to be thankful for.
