Our driver, Mr Zhou, has been causing our family stress for months. He is grumpy, lies on his time sheet and complains when my friends ride in the car. John has had several talks with him about changing his attitude, Mr. Zhou apologizes -- is good for a day, but then back to his old ways. Hard to believe but John really disliked him – even more than I did (shocked, right?). Long story short we let him go last week. It was hard for me. When our new driver went to pick up the car from the company he didn’t know that he had to pay a pricey deposit fee, so declined the job. Now we have a temporary driver. He is nice enough, but lives 1 hour away, so he won’t drive for us after 7pm. We have been mooching rides from friends and taking taxis. It is making me a little crazy not to be able to just get in my car and go where I need to go! Hopefully we will get a new permanent driver soon. I am praying that he likes kids and has a nice smile.
