John is so busy that we literally had to squeeze in his birthday celebration. He left work an hour early and met me at Mac’s restaurant (a local fancy seafood restaurant). We heard they give a free entree and dessert on your birthday. He had a pecan crusted catfish and I had salmon— it was delicious! I had made a cake and brought it in the car. After dinner he hurried straight to the church for YM’s where he led an activity on music. He shared his cake with the YM. James was at work and the YW were meeting at a leader’s home. At 9:30pm when we were finally all home he opened a few presents. He is easy to please and fun to celebrate. We are so grateful for how he loves, leads and guides our family.
Happy 43rd birthday to my thoughtful, kind, handsome and hardworking husband. I could easily list 43 things about him but I'll limit it to 10 . Happy birthday John!!
1. He is steady and calm.
2. He likes eat mozzarella buffalo cheese, a good steak, peach cobbler, and wishes he could eat ice cream everyday.
3. All four of our daughters prefer to talk to him about their problems. He's a good listener.
4. He's an innovator, deep thinker and likes to strategize.
5. He keeps things clean, always helps make the bed, does the dishes and might even be more organized than me.
6. He is always reading or listening to a new book.
7. He loves to talk about his job at Ford. If you want to see him animated ask about "smart mobility."
8. He is faithful and serves with his heart.
9. He doesn't like to exercise.
10. He likes to drive fast, watch movies, and is deeply moved by good music.
