"Sunday dawned early as we left at 8:15 to attend John and Laurel's international branch which was held in a business office building in Shanghai. It was wonderful to see the love and fellow-shipping among the branch members and they treated us with that same warmth. The block of meetings was well attended and the lessons well presented. It never ceases to amaze me that a person can attend an LDS service anywhere in the world and feel the Spirit and have the continuity provided by the Church correlation and curriculum departments. I was so grateful to be able to participate in the meetings with John and Laurel's family and to sense the love and care that are a part of their Church involvement in Shanghai"
